Sequel is well maintained.
Bugs don't sit on the tracker ignored for months.
You don't have to find 3 other people having your problem before I'll consider fixing it.
I've been using Sequel for all of my applications for a long time, so almost all of the bugs I fix these days do not affect me personally.
